I had a crazy shopping yesterday at the Jurong East Point. It started with just a simple shopping time to spend with my mom. We were shopping at John Little and mom told me that we could get $12 discount if we bought $60 and above. That sound good. Which mean I only pay $48 to get a $60 goods. Hmm...good ideas!

Here we go, picked up a few pieces of clothes and paid at the counter. We got two lucky dips too. Mom got at $5 voucher and me...wow!...I got a $50 voucher...on top of it...I could enjoy $12 discount if I spend $60 and above. That means, in total I have $62 free shopping voucher. Well, here we go again...shopping and shopping. We spent more than 4 hours at John Little.

Finally, I went home happily and satisfied with 6 new pieces of shirt! Well...when I think about, I had actually wanted to top up my wardrobe cos my clothes are getting old and it needed to change. I was only prepared to spend little but God is amazing. He blessed me with 6 pieces of new clothes with little money I spent. I only spent $48 for $74 worth of clothes! Wow!...thank you Lord for such a wonderful GIFT!

Position wanted

Requirement:

Must be physically and mentally fit

Able to switch roles as and when it required

Able to work 24 x 7

Able to multi task

Having taking care of my 17 month old niece full time for the past 4 days had I realised that it was not an easy job. I understood now what people had always said that being a mother was a demanding job and it require 24 x 7 mentally and physically fit person to fit the role.

You are a playmate, discipline master, cook and cleaner to the child all at the same time. Multiple tasking is the word to describe the role.

She will climb up and down the sofa, pick up things on the floor and put it into her mouth, yet the next moment, she will smile at you which melted your heart.

During meal time, you have to make funny face and sound to attract her to open her mouth so that you can "throw" the food quickly into her mouth before she closed her mouth.

Your eyes are never out of her sight, cos the next moment you realised that she has turned the kitchen into a play ground where all the plates, bottles, broom and pail have became her toys.

I was totally drained after the last day looking after my niece, nevertheless, it was a joyful moment to spend with her, seriously speaking from my heart.

Who is reading my blog?

Sometimes, I am just wondering who read my blog. Mine is such a lousy blog, nothing exciting or fancyful. I wish I know how to make the blog exciting and at the same time get to know people.

How I wish people who read my blog, will say hello to me.

Mr Professor Taxi Driver

I have the thought that if ever that is one day I could not work anymore, I should drive a taxi. At least, it satisfied my wants to have a "car" of my own, to explore around Singapore and at the same time earn some living allowance for myself. But first thing first, I need to get a taxi licence if I ever want to drive. I will leave it aside first till the today when I really need it. Quite amazing how this professor turn into a taxi driver but the most amazing part is how he has enjoy his professional and daily driving into an experience. I guess he is the first Taxi Professor. The two sessions spent with you all in the painting session and playtime, help me to see that what we had went through life is nothing compared to what you went through.

The short time spent with you all help me to understand that your courage and your smile is filled with sincere and love.

I love you all with my sincere heart and Aunties wish you all healthy, keep smiling and be strong in life.

Note: To protect the children's identities, I will not disclose who they are.
